SNIST has signed an MoU with Dhruva Space to establish a Space Technology Centre. It’s one of the first technical institutes to create a space technology centre on its campus, which will include a ground station, an R&D centre, and a testing lab. The Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology has launched SREESAT-1 from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Hyderabad. SNIST is planning to enhance its space technology to design and develop payloads based on research by collaborating with industry, faculty, and students.
